I’ve been a lip Gloss/balm girl never liked lipsticks guess I just subconsciously thought they dint look good on me or just dint like how i felt on my lips then again don’t like that much color on my lips prefer to keep them looking as natural as possible. So imagine my excitement when I discovered Nude Lipsticks.
A nude lip color is the perfect companion for heavy eye makeup or just a simple all-around “I’m naturally this good looking” understated look. But “nude” is totally dependent on an individual’s skin tone and not everyone can wear a light creme beige as their nude.
Don’t get caught up in the racial background or ethnicity of the celebs mentioned above. Use their skin tone as a guide. You could be Asian and still look great in the shade for Kim Kardashian or you could be East Indian and work the shade for Kelly Rowland)
Dark Skin: (think Nia Long to Gabrielle Union) BB Cocoa, MAC Lustreglass in Trance Plant, MAC Lipstick in Icon, MAC Lipstick in Shitaki, NARS Lipgloss in Hustler, MAC Lipstick in Coconutty
Deep Skin: (think Kelly Rowland to Alek Wek) BB Hot Cocoa or Chocolate, MAC Lipstick in Coconutty, MAC Lustreglass in Trance Plan or boy bait
P.S Be sure your lips are properly exfoliated (rub a wet toothbrush over your lips) and moisturize (Chapstick should do the trick)
I remember the first time i saw this it was on the 1st episode of Drop Dead Diva. Debb would paint one nail a different color For good luck . I Actually thought it was cute but Never imagined it ever become a fad
This look helps draw attention to your hands, and can even complement your outfit or jewelry! The key is to use a dramatically
different color on just one finger, like a bright pink with grey, or a turquoise with taupe or just painting one nail on each hand a contrasting color from the others.
What do pastels, metallic grays, and sleek nudes have in common? They’re all part of the gorgeous and utterly fresh 2011 nail polish trends. Shades typically lighten up each spring, but instead of going sheer, this year’s crop of pastels stays rich and creamy–think smooth purples, bright blues, and yummy peach-tinged pinks. Plus, the nude lacquers spotted at a plethora of spring shows (like Marc Jacobs, Jason Wu, and Yigal Azrouel) are having their moment, and those looking for punched up hits of color won’t be disappointed either: Bright, bold lacquers are making an appearance, and some optically intriguing shades of gun metal are popping up, too—talk about a cheap thrill!
Lovely in Lavender—Purple nails are our secret weapon. Dusty purples, saturated lavenders, and shiny heliotropes look great with most skin tones.
Back to Nature Nudes —Nude-as-naked nails look refreshingly demure, yet provocative. Make sure your polish comes in a high-gloss formula so you don’t end up looking like you have mannequin hands.
Gun-Metal Grays & Minx —Don’t forget about those metallics! Give your digits the full metal treatment with pearlescent polishes. The future is now!
Nail Polish art designs are of great importance when it comes to style as well as beauty as they can attract a generous amount of attention towards the hands. Although the hands might not be considered by most very important when it comes to beauty, they actually play a very important role, being always in plain sight. Fun nail art designs for 2011 can pose as a great option to enhance the beauty of your hands so they can match your fresh style and bubbly personality.
Polish is polish is polish. Unless, of course, it crackles/shatters. The hottest new trend to hit the lacquer world are these polishes that create a shatter effect when they dry on your tips. The look is raw and gritty, yet amazingly intricate (i.e. if you tell ‘em you sat in a salon for hours to get the look, they’ll probably believe you!).
For day, coat your nails in a flat/matte polish, then top with one of these crackle polishes; for night, go with a layer of glitter lacquer topped by a shatter effect polish. Done and done.
Its time to show that fun side of yourself by turning your ordinary nails extraordinary. Some of the nail polishes even have special embellishments like glitter and shimmer. These are great nail polish choice for special occasions. Another fun look is to do specific patterns on your fingernails or toenails.
For example: Paint every other nail with a crackle design, or paint each nail a different color. These are just two fun, edgy looks out of dozens of possibilities. The main thing is to have fun experimenting with all the design possibilities that crackle has to offer.
Omadysss its been like forever since i’ve been on here whew!!! Soo much has happened since my last entry
.
Anyways I’ve recently become a HUGE Twilight fan (thanks to my sissy) and Bella’s current love triangle got me thinking.
Is it Really Possible to Love two people? I mean come on i know most people think shes confused but is she really? Personally i don’t think its got anything to do with being confused. You might be confused bout what to do about the situation but not confused bout how u feel. Especially since it usually happens with someone who’s quite different from your partner and mostly tends to bring something different to the table. Look how different Jacob and Edward are not to mention Stefan and Damon. No one in their right mind would willfully choose to be in love with two people. If you ask me it just sorta happens.
I mean its not always a detriment to the present relationship, it may be something you didn’t even know about yourself that was important or missing, but all of a sudden you feel alive by what this other person brings into your world. Nothing is easy about this situation. Many people end up alone when venturing into this scenario because someone usually ends up getting hurt. Guess the best thing is to pick one and hope he’s the best person to complete us.
Nonetheless, to say that you cannot is a bit like saying a parent cannot love any of their children beyond their first one. Or it’s a bit like saying that you cannot hate more than one person at a time. Being all-partnered-up does not somehow prevent your brain from dousing itself in love-chemicals over someone else. Human feelings know no such rules or boundaries, so loving Person A and being in a relationship does not innoculate you against loving Person B.
to be continued. . . ;(
